Caloptima maintains a strong customer focus that enables them to provide quality customer service to all their clients. In 1999-2000 they were designing training/development programs around the theme "Working in a Team Environment".Their management team had expressed the need for additional information on communicating, problem-solving in teams, and running meetings effectively. CalOPTIMA wanted to provide their people with innovative, interactive programs that would enhance and extend their current skill levels and cooperative working environment.
TCG designed and presented multiple sessions of our copyrighted workshop Skills for Teams and provided a series of individualized consulting and coaching sessions for their diversified work teams.
In today’s world, selling IT products and services is a highly competitive adventure. The challenge for the sales group at CalOptima was to meet their individual goals as they worked in a team structure. TCG provided support to the sales team by administering and analyzing their individual and group strengths using the MBTI. In order to increase their working relationships the team was facilitated through a series of experiential initiatives that allowed them to expand their individual capabilities while appreciating the diversity of their team.
Creation and delivery of a team focused developmental program including an MBTI analysis of all participants and a 6 hour facilitated interactive program on communication, cooperation, and collaboration
TCG was contracted by Jennersville Regional Hospital (formerly Southern Chester County Medical Center) to facilitate the team responsible for the redesign of the Emergency Services Department patient care delivery system. The uniqueness of that redesign was based on the input from the team members who represented medical staff, medical center administration, and the community. The redesign resulted in a quantifiable, patient-oriented, timely delivery of services to a diverse patient population.
TCG is proud to serve as the facilitator for the Main Line Chamber’s signature program Leadership Main Line. In an effort to develop future community leaders in the region, the Chamber established the Leadership Main Line program in 2002. Leadership Main Line provides an intensive eight-month curriculum that includes valuable lessons about the infrastructure of the Main Line. Graduates benefit personally and professionally, but the big winner is the community as more qualified leaders are developed.
TCG is also leading the process design that will perpetuate Leadership Main Line as the Main Line’s premier program for community and professional development.
Marsh Creek Signs, Inc. began in 1980 as a one person sign and truck lettering business headquartered in the back of a 1975 VW bug. Today Marsh Creek’s sign output has expanded to include digitally printed graphics, sandblasted signs with gold leaf, and portraits hand-painted on residential signs. Now was the time for Marsh Creek Signs to redesign themselves from the inside out. Working with TCG, Marsh Creek Signs, Inc. developed a strategic plan to support its core values of superior design, creativity, artistry, quality, and service. They have written a business plan that reflects their commitment to being “the sign shop of choice for their community”.

SPIPolyols has experienced multiple changes in recent years. Some of those changes affected customer service and product delivery. It was time to redesign some of their basic production processes and get specific feedback from their customer.
For nearly a decade Thornton Creative has helped companies and organizations reach their goals through compelling and innovative marketing solutions. Thornton Creative was successful from its beginning. This success was realized through quality products and services, total commitment, and long hours. One of the costs of this level of success is a loss of personal time. Thornton Creative’s president knew he needed to make some changes but didn’t know where to start. TCG worked with him to improve his company’s efficiency and effectiveness by revisiting his original goals for the company, redesigning several business processes, and coaching him as he carved out time for himself while the business continued to increase. Now the president of Thornton Creative is harnessing his passion for creative solutions and developing his business and his clients and becoming the entrepreneur he wants to be.
U.S. Cellular was looking for new and different portable adventures that they could use with their training group and facilitate effectively with their varied target audiences. U.S. Cellular is a dynamic organization where people make the difference and where they take their fun seriously. (I really liked that part!) The Taylor Consulting Group presented an interactive showcase of multiple training initiatives. We provided ice breakers/warm-ups, games just for activities for all stages of team development, and a simulation game for process designs and project management based on systems theory.
